3 Days From Fes To Marrakech Desert Trip

DAY One: Fes – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga camel excursion – night in Desert

The journey will begin at 08:00, and we will take you from your hotel or Riad in Fes through Ifran towards Merzouga. In this trip you will have a pause in Azrou to visit its cedars forest which is well-known by its old trees and the Bararyan Monkeys, to take some pictures and enjoy the beauty of the place. Later on, you will continue through the Atlas Mountains towards the desert, and along the way you will be exposed to beautiful forests, springs, and some Amazigh villages. Once you reach Midelt, you will stop for lunch, and then continue to Merzouga. On the way to Merzouga, you will have a pause to see the the huge oasis of palm trees. The arrival to Merzouga will be at the afternoon, and there you will find our guide waiting for you. He will take you in a tour on camels over the dunes of the erg-chebbi. And after two hours of riding on camels, you will reach an Amazigh camp in the heart of the desert, there you will rest, have some tea and after dinner there will be a traditional music performance.

DAY Two: Camel ride back to Merzouga – Todra Gorges

In early morning, you will wake up to watch the sunrise, and head back on camels to the hotel. There you will have few minutes to breakfast, rest, and take a shower, before you start your journey towards gorges. Taking the road used by Paris Dakar rally, you will reach the cave from which local people bring fossils, and discover how they do it. Later on you will continue to Rissani where you will visit various historical places such as: sijilmassa,the Kasbahs which are more than 350 kasbah, mosulement of moulay ali charif ,musem of lfida ,and the souq. From there you will travel via the ziz valley and gorges, and you will pause in gorge todra to take some pictures and enjoy the panoramic views of the place. Once you reach dades gorge, you will have dinner and spend your night in one of its Kasbaha.

DAY Three: Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

Once you have your breakfast, you will have some few minutes to walk and explore the mountains of the gorges. Later on you will visit Ouarzazate Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. There you will have the chance to visit the places where famous movies have filmed and take some pictures as a souvenir. Afterwards, you visit an Oasis near Ouarzazate called Fint Oasis. Finally, you will drive through Tizi-n-Tichka towards Marrakesh and during the trip you will have a pause to dinner in a small village. In the afternoon you will be in Marrakesh and from there we will take you back to your hotel or Riad to finish the tour.
