4 days tours from marrakech to merzouga

This 4 days desert tour from Marrakech will take you to visit the most beautiful places in Morocco, such as the High Atlas Mountains, ksour, old Berber villages, green valleys, lush palm groves, the exceptional Toudra Gorges, and the Magical Moroccan Sahara desert.

Itinerary:

Day One: Marrakesh – Ouarzazate -Dades Valley

The journey towards Dades Valley will start from Marrakesh. You will first cross the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, a long mountain pass, heading to the Amazigh village Telouet where you will find a guide who will take you in a tour over Kasbah of el Glaoui. This Kasbah was named after the well-known Pasha of Marrakech Thami el Glaoui. Then the trip will continue towards Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou which is considered as a World Heritage by the UNESCO. Then, you will have your lunch either there in Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou or in Ouarzazate. Once you have lunched, your destination will be Dades valley where you will spend the night in a hotel

Day Two: Dades Gorges – Toudra gorge – Merzouga (Camel ride-Night in desert)

The next day, you will head to the desert of Marzougua immediately after breakfast.  And during this trip you will pass through various Amazigh villages such as: Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud. When you arrive to Marzougua you will have few minutes to take some rest, and prepare yourself for an adventure on camels throughout the dunes.  Then you will spend the night in camp in the middle of Sahara and listen to drums music in addition to having the chance to take some lovely pictures with your friends during the beautiful sunset.

Day Three: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

The following day, you will go back to Merzouga after having a delicious breakfast under the sunrise’s beams. There, you will take a shower in the hotel and head towards Ouarzazate. On your way , you will visit Amazigh villages and pass through Agdez Draa to end up in Oarzazat where you will spend the night as well as have a breakfast in early morning.

Day Four : Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakesh

The fourth and last day of your tour will begin in the morning.  In this day your destination will be Ait Ben Haddou , an impressive and well-known historical Kasbah protected by the UNESCO. This Kasbah is preferred by directors to film their movies, therefore various films have been filmed there such as: Gladiator. Later on you will leave the Kasbah and go over Tizi N Tishka, the highest road pass in Morocco, towards Marrakesh. You will be there in the evening.
