Toubkal trek :

The 5 days Toubkal trek is a perfect trip for those of you who want to experience an unforgettable adventure. During this trip, we will spend 5 days moving via the Amazigh villages and enjoying the limitless beautiful views until reach our destination which is the summit of the highest Mountain in Morocco.

Day 1: Marrakech –Imi oughlad –Tizi n’tachte –Tiziane.Early morning.

Our today’s tour will start at Marrakesh from which we will take you and enjoy the breeze all along the way to the Atlas Mountains passing through Moulay brahim gorges and the valleys besides the road. The series of Mountains that will heads to during our journey will include the Mountain of Toubkal that is famous by its highest peak in North Africa. In order to reach this Mountain, we will take the path of Imi oughlad which exists at an altitude of 1450m. Once we get there, we will pull over and mingle with the locals and get to know them. After that, we will take the north-western road in which you will enjoy the zigzagged shape of the road .  after that, we will pass through Tizi ntachete which is 2000m high and you will enjoy looking at the woods along the pass as well as the beautiful valleys of Imlil and Ait ouazaden. This will lead us to Imi nifri where our picnic place takes place. We will also enjoy hiking for about 2 hours heading to assif n ait ouazaden taking a muddy path which will be challenging and joyful. In addition, we will head also to Tiziane village in which we will be hosted by a local house to spend the rest of the night

 

Day 2: Tiziane – Tizi n’taghrhourte – D’knt.

 After spending the night in Tiziane, you will be woken and invited to a morning breakfast then we will walk to assif naitouazaden valley. During this hike, you will make it to Tizintaghrhourt which has an altitude of 1995 m and then you will continue to Assaka in which our break will take place among the beautiful sights. Once our break is done, you will take the road to the village of Dknt and it will be the place where dinner will be eaten and night will be spent.

 

Day 3: D’knt – Tizi n’tagdalte – Tizi oussem.

in the early morning, you will be prepared for a new hiking adventure in which you will experience the pleasure of walking for 3 hours among the trees and the corn fields that will blow your mind by the colors they have. You will also meet various people including shepherds with their flock of goats and women who will amaze you when you see them putting heavy woods on their backs.  This hiking journey will also take us to the place I which you will find some juniper trees and have a picnic there.  When you will have relaxed, you will take a 3hours hike to the valley of Assif nait ouaszden and stop in a river in the area. This place will take us to the village of tizi oussem which is  located at an altitude of 1850m, then, we head to tamsoult village in order to camp there.

 

Day 4: Aazib Tamsoult-Tizi Aguelzim- Toubkal Refuge.

Once breakfast is taken, we will start our hiking trip to tizi aguelzim. The latter is 3550 m high which is challenging. After that, we will walk for about 3 hours to reach Toubkal at an altitude of 3207 m. in this place, we will sit for dinner and spend the rest of the night.

 

Day 5: Toubkal Refuge – Summit- Sidi Chamharouch – Imlil – Marrakech.

In this day, you will be woken for an early breakfast at 6 am in order to get the energy for a 3 hours of climbing to the top of the highest mountain in Morocco at an altitude of 4167 m. you will surely be amazed by the astonishing view that you will see from that place. After that, we will go down for a picnic in the camp. Once lunch is taken, you will take the zigzagged road through the valley of Assif nlsouhouanem nouagounss and make it to Sidi chamharouch where you will enjoy the waterfall. After a period of time, we will go down the hills and reach the village of imllil and  rent a taxi to take you back to Marrakesh.
