7 Days Tours from Casablanca To Merzouga Sahara Desert

DAY  One: Meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Fez.

Once you are at the airport, we will be there to take to a hotel in Fez to spend your first night there and get ready to start the adventure.

DAY  Two: Fez Sightseeing

After having your breakfast, you will be taken in a tour around Fez. Fez is very famous by its historical buildings and important places. The first place you will visit in Fez is Mellah which was the area of the first Jewish settlement. Then you will movie to visit the Royal palace gate, Nejjarine Museum, the Jewish headquarter, Kairaouine Mosque and other places. Later on you will have a tour in the Souks where you will be able to buy some handmade products and keep it as a souvenir. Finally you will be taken to the hotel to spend your night there.

DAY  Three: Fez – Merzouga. Camel trek in Erg Chebbi sand dunes & night in a tent in middle dunes.

In early morning, you will start your journey towards Merzouga. In your way you will pass through numerous cities. First, you will go through Ifran which is one of the famous cities in Morocco. And from there, you will head to Azrou and visit its forest to see the Barbary monkeys, take some lovely pictures, and enjoy the wonderful views. Later on, your destination will be Midelt over the charming hills and mountains of the Atlas. Then through Tizi N Tlghamt, you will head towards Errachidia. From Errachidia, you will continue along the Ziz Valley where you will have a pause to take some pictures and explore the place. Then the journey will continue to Merzouga over small cities such as Erfoud and Rissani. You will be there in Merzouga in the evening, and you will find our well experienced guide who will take you in a tour on camels over the dunes, before heading to an Amazigh camp in the heart of the desert to spend your night there.

DAY  Four: Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Boumalane Dades – Dades Gorge.

Immediately after watching the sunrise, you will be taken back on camels by our guide towards the hotel. There you will have your breakfast and take a shower. Later on, you will head towards Rissani where you will have a visit to its traditional Souk. Rissani’s Souk is well-known by its unique handcrafts, dates, and local handmade clothes as well as some other amazing products that you will discover by yourself. Afterwards, you will leave the Souk to Todgha Gorge and from there to Boumalane Dades. Once you are in Boumalane Dades, you will be fascinated by the beauty of the place and its natural rocky structure called “Monkeys Toes”.

DAY  Five: Dades Gorge – Kalaat Magouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate-Ait ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakesh.

The journey towards Marrakesh will be full of important places and villages to visit. This journey begins after having your breakfast in the hotel. And your first destination will be Ourzazate. To reach Ourzazate, you will have to drive through Skoura oasis which contains some authentic historical Kasbahs. And once you reach Ourzazate, you will be taken in a tour throughout the city.  This city is rich by its touristic places, and our duty is to make sure that you visit as much as possible of these places. One of the places you will have a visit to is Taourirt Kasbah. This Kasbah is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and it belongs to the Pacha of Marrakesh Thami El Glaoui. You will also visit the Atlas studio where several movies have been filmed. Later on, you will head towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which is also recognized by UNESCO as world heritage. From there, you will continue through Tizi N tichka, the highest mountain pass in South Africa, to Merrakesh. You will be in Merrakesh at the evening, therefore you will spend the night in a hotel.

DAY  Six: Marrakesh Sightseeing.

This day will be devoted to explore Merrakesh, the city of El Bhja. In this tour, you will find yourself in places where culture, art and history stand side by side. Among these places there is Koutoubia mosque, Medrassa ben Yousef, and El Medina. You will have time to discover almost every corner of the city and enjoy its unique atmosphere. You will also have the chance to taste the local food and buy some of the cute handcrafts as well as taking some pictures as souvenir.

DAY  Seven: Transfer to the airport.

The seventh days will be last day of your journey. Therefore after having your breakfast, we will take you towards the airport and make sure you head back to your countries.
