8 Days Morocco Desert Tours From Tangier To Merzouga Sahara Desert

 DAY  One: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES

 The tour begins from Tangier towards Chefchaouen, where you will able to discover numerous cultural places and see beautiful views. Later on you will continue to Fezz. Then you will go to the hotel where you will spend the night.

DAY  Two: FES GUIDED TOUR

In Fez, you will have a tour towards important locations and historical places. Frst you will visit Medina and its well-known part Bali, which is recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage. Then you will head to Jewish quarter, Al Qaraouine University, and Mulay Idriss mausoleum which are very important and famous historical buildings in the city. Later on you will be taken to the hotel to take your dinner and spend the night thre.

DAY  Three: FES- AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA

After having your breakfast in the hotel, a journey towards Merzouga wil begins. In this journey you will cross the Atlas Mountains and pass by Azrou, then drive to Midelt. From there you will continue through Ziz valley until you reach Erfoud, then you will head towards Rissani to visit its traditional Souk. There you may buy some of the handmade products as a souvenir. Later on you will continue driving to reach Merzouga. And once you are there, in Merzouga, you will find our well experienced guide waiting you with camels. You will take those camels and ride throughout the dunes and enjoy the sunset. After this, our guide will lead you to an Amazigh camp in the heart of the desrt, where you will tease some delicious Amazigh food, and spend your night.

DAY  Four: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

 In early morning, you will wake up to see the reflection of the sunrise on the golden sand, then you will head back on camels to the hotel where you will have your breakfast and take a shower. And from there, the journey starts to Dades Valley over Todgha Gorges and some small Amazigh villages. You will have your lunch in Touroug which is one of these small Amazigh Villages. Later on, you will drive towards Todgha Gorges, and there you will have time to take some lovely pictures as well as walk around the place to discover it. Then you drive to Dades Valley, where you will be able to enjoy the beauty of majestic sand castles, which is known as “monkey’s toes”. Finally you will be taken to a hotel to spen your night and prepare yourself for the next day.

 DAY  Five : DADES VALLEY – AIT BENHADDOU KASBAH – MARRAKECH

 After breakfast, the destination will be Marrakech. In this tour, you will visit one of the famous cities in Morocco which is Ouarzazate. in Ouarzazate, you will have time to explore the studios and take some pictures. Later on you will continue to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah where numerous movies have been filmed such as: Gladiator, Game of throne. You will have lunch there in Ait Benhaddou, and head to Marrakech through Tizi n’Tichka. The arrival to Marrakech will be in the afternoon.

 DAY Six: MARRAKECH – GUIDED TOUR

In Marrakech and after breakfast, you will have a tour throughout the city. Marrakech or “the red city” as some people likes to call it, is full of important and historical places such as: Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Our duty is to make sure you will visit these places. Then you will have your lunch in a restaurant and walk through the city’s Souks where you will see some beautiful handicrafts. Finally in the afternoon, you will be able to explore more places by yourself.

DAY  Seven: Day trip to Essaouira city

After having your breakfast, you will travel towards Essaouira. Essaouira or Mogadore is a city in the western Moroccan economic region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, on the Atlantic coast. Its name means the wall which refers to the fortress walls that originally enclosed the city. You will explore the city and discover its important and historical places.

DAY  Eight: Transfert to Marrakech AEROPORT

The eighths day will be the last day of the journey and your destination will be the airport of Marrakech.
