Mount Toubkal or as many recognize as the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, North Africa, and the Arab world is a Moroccan mountain situated in the southwest part of the country near the Red city, Marrakech.

Once you start climbing, you will come across some small villages where you can get water, snacks and other stuff that you might need.

A next stop before you reach the top is a refuge where you can buy yourself a good meal. There are also tents that you can rent for a small charge.
After that, your next stop might just be the top of Toubkal.

What sort of experiences you can have in your journey to Mount Toubkal?

Marrakech, as we have already said, is a major component in your journey to Mount Toubkal. You will be spending a lot of time there. And for a good reason too. For most people, who are not mount climbing experts, spring might be the best choice. In springtime, the weather is at a good temperature. And at this time of the year, the chances are very good that the snow is not going to make your journey unnecessarily hard.

However, for the experts who like a more challenging experience, November is a good month for climbing Mount Toubkal. Although, using climbing equipment might be something necessary at this time of the year.

We should also mention that Mount Toubkal is not very crowded during late autumn and early spring periods. That might interest you if you are a person who doesn’t like their experience of such a beautiful place to be spoiled by a big crowd of people.
