One day mountain biking

Great full day cycling day trip from Marrakech to the atlas mountains, imlil village is the principal trailhead village for treks up to the highest peak in morocco the village offers good infrastructure for people wanting a pleasant mountain base for a few days, but is also an excellent place to & finish longer, more linear, hikes. Its accessibility to Marrakesh under one hour and half by road makes it an excellent choice to get a good feel for how rural Moroccan lives their lives, and much of the surrounding area is home to landscape of snow caped mountains in the season, verdant valley and earth brick villages where life has changed little in centuries.

One Day Bike From Marrakesch to Asni Via Imnane valley 

Transfer from Marrakesch directly to Imlil Village through Asni where a weekly market is set up in the centre of Asni every Saturday.  Once we arrive in Imlil, which is the principal trailhead village for treks up the highest peak in Morocco, we will get our bikes and ride towards the pass of Tizi n’Tamartert at 2280m altitude.  This is a  good rolling road overlooking the deep valley.  We reach the track on the right side, where we will find a succession of wonderful Berber village beehives clinging to the sides of the mountains.  In the back ground we will see the majestic summits of the High Atlas mountains.  We cross through many Berber villages as we make our descent to Asni or Tahanout.  The transfer to Marrakesch will be around 6 pm.
