Oukaimeden Station Ski & Atlas Mountains Skitour – 6 DAYS

This days of skiing touring is a combination between piste & off piste skiing. You will start by piste skiing in Oukaimeden ski resort, and move to Imnane valley where you will do off piste skiing in the following days.

Day One: Arrival in Marrakesh 

You will be met at the airport and transferred to Riad / Hotel  in the center of city.  Once you have settled in, you have the time to experience the famous Djemaa el Fna square where you can see entertainers performing, a myriad of food stalls all lit up with the smells to accompany them and the general melee of activity. Dinner & Overnight stay in the accommodations Riad / Hotel.

Day Two: Marrakesh – Oukaimeden resort  (2650M) – Tizi n’Eddi Pass (2928M)  – Tachedirt (2250M)

Depart From Riad / Hotel in Marrakesh at 8 am for the 2-hour journey by private vehicle along mountain roads to the trailhead at Oukaimeden.  We warm ourselves with the tradidional mint tea and enjoy our time skiing in this resort, which is also the highest ski resort in North Africa. Once on our skis the route takes us over Tizi’n Eddi (2928m) followed by a descent into the Tachddirt valley and the villages of Tameguist and Tachddirt village Dinner and Overnight in Gite.

Day Three: Tachddirt (2300M) – Bou Iguenouane (3800M) – Tachddirt (2300M)  

After breakfast, you will ski up to Bou Iguenouane Peak which can take up 5 hours steady uphill effort, however you are rewarded with stunning views, especial across to Mount Toubkal.  After we have some light snack while we enjoy amazing views from the summit.  We descend down to the Gite, have  lunch and relax with a very good view. In the afternoon we can walk for one or two hours to visit some Berber villages. Back to the Gite for the night.

Day Four: Tachddirt (2300M)  – Likkemt Pass (3600M) – Tachddirt (2300M) –Marrakesh

After breakfast we continue to climb to likkemt pass  with a complete scenery of Tachedirt valley and its peaks like (Angour 3600m, Likkemt 3600m, Aksoual 3920m). Descend skiing down to the village of Tachddirt village in the gite we have lunch before we transfer back to Marrakesh. Dinner and Overnight in Riad / Hotel.

Day Five: Sightseeing tour Marrakesh

Marrakesh is a feast for the senses. Be enticed by the alluring scents and brilliant colors of the spice markets, the sounds of the musicians, the rich folds of carpets, delectable foods, acrobats and perfumed gardens.

Marrakesh is home to a seemingly endless mosaic of souks. Each is devoted to a separate trade: pottery, woodwork, copper, leather, carpets and spices.

The monuments of Marrakesh are numerous and range from the well-known Koutoubia Mosque and its superb minaret – famous throughout the Islamic world and the ‘sister’ to the Giralda in far-away Seville, to the lesser-known tropical gardens of the French painter Jacques Majorelle (now owned by Yves Saint Laurent). There’s the Palais Bahia, a superb example of Muslim architecture, and the ruins of the Palais Badi, reputedly one of the most beautiful palaces in the world in its time. The Saadian tombs are a recently uncovered gem of the Medina. All of the above can be a challenge to locate, but that’s all part of the experience of exploring the phenomenal medinas of Morocco, dinner and overnight  Hotel / Riad.

Day Six: Transfer back the Airport of Marrakesh 

After breakfast then you have time for shopping or some free time in the center of city … then back to your hotel preparing your luggage etc … transfer two hours and half to the airport of Marrakesh we arrive before two hours schedule of your flights.
