  We spend 4 days/3 nights with Hassan in summer 2018, out of a 2-week trip in Morocco. Our trek was definitely the highlight of our trip. We walked 6-7 hours... read more per day (by choice, he can adapt the trip according to your needs), in mountains and valleys; beautiful views and fabulous little spots to stop for lunch and mint tea. We did not see many people, except for Berbères going places (again, this is what we wanted).

We slept in three different gites, that were basic; but after walking a lot, we would have slept anywhere! Dinners were freshly cooked for us, the food was excellent. We also learned about life in the area in our conversations with Hassan.

Our three children (aged 15, 13 and 11 at the time) had a great time. We can't wait to go back! Thanks to Hassan and his team for a memorable experience.

  Landed safely in Marrakesch with great hygene and care for COVID safety to be greeted by the most warm welcome of Hassan and Mohammed from Atlas Walkers. Together with... read more their team they managed to create the most fun adventure for us. We went to Sahara where we experienced buggy driving in the sand, camel riding, slept in luxurious private tents, watched sunrise and sunset and all the magical unlimited number of starts at night. In order to suit our needs Hassan booked for us an amazing accomodation in Erg Chebbi where we relaxed in the pool whilst enjoying views of the desert itself...it was truly a unique experience and highly recommended .. far from everyone at this crucial time. From there we moved to Imlil, the sweet Berber village close to the Highest Peak in North Afrika, Mount Toubkal. We stayed at a guest house in this village up in the mountains and really had the guest house all to ourselves. The Berber villagers cooked amazing food for us, Mohammed took care of the trekking and he did an awesome job. Away from everything, away from everyone, it was a time for self relaxation, enjoying nature, eating good food, going for walks and sharing the evenings playing cards and story telling in the cosy living room. Hassan truly succeeded in making us super satisfied as he even organized a cooking class upon a request from a member in our group. All I can say is that we were sceptical to travel anywhere in this crazy time ... but Morocco was definately the most good choice we have taken since Atlas Walkers took such impeccable care for us all, ensuring our safety, tailormade this holiday for our needs and helping us collect amazing memories for the rest of our lives.   What a unique adventure in Imlil. Saw amazing scenery with a professional and very friendly guide. Visited Berber villages and were close to Berber people and the traditional way they... read more live far from technological fanciness but extremely happy. Did trekking on the Atlas Mountains but although we did not manage to climb in yo highest peak we are taking with us great memories. Loved the local cuisine. Shot lots of photos and had an unforgettable time. All this is thanks to Hassan and Atlas Walkers team. They were simply amazing helping us, consistently supportive and responded immediately to our messages, taking such good care of us to be safe and to always eat good foods. His drivers were very safe and then we met our tour guide (also named Hassan for this trip). We had a great 3 day village trek, it was challenging but safe. The best part and surprise was the chef, Mohammed, who made amazing meals throughout the trek even though we were vegetarian he was able to make it work. The accommodations were also safe and clean, and we had a good nights rest between hikes.

I never believed i can do this but thanks to Hassan who guided us personally in trekking I did the whole journey. We were impressed when we were served lunch cooked there infront of us by chef Mustafa and Muhammed. We felt like we were treated like vips with a table near the river on the mountains under the trees which protected us from the sunny moments. This was a short trip but Atlas Walkers we promise me and my friends will be back very soon to explore another part of Morocco.
